Every barrel in the Het Anker maturation warehouses is carefully monitored and regularly tasted. From time to time, we come across exceptional taste expressions. The Finest Selection series comprises special editions of such taste expressions.
For this fourth edition, we selected a few exclusive Armagnac barrels from France in which our spirit aged for 78 months in our largest maturation warehouse. This long ageing process, lasting over 6 years, results in a perfectly balanced whisky with pronounced hints of raisin, vanilla and liquorice. The mellow finish transports you to the south of France in an instant.
